Last updated: 19 August 2026
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Stalwart Business & Financial Consultancy (Stalwart, we, us or our) collects, uses, discloses, stores and protects personal data. We are a financial and business advisory firm based in New Delhi, India, and we are the data fiduciary responsible for the personal data described below.
We handle personal data in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable Indian law. By using this website or submitting your details to us, you confirm that you have read and understood this policy.
2. Scope of this policy
This policy applies to personal data we collect through:
- our website at stalwartfin.com, including the enquiry form, the newsletter sign-up and the consultation booking tool;
- lead generation forms we run on third-party platforms such as LinkedIn, where the platform passes us the details you choose to submit;
- direct correspondence with us by email, telephone or messaging applications such as WhatsApp; and
- the course of providing advisory services to clients and prospective clients.
3. Personal data we collect
Information you provide to us. When you complete our enquiry form, a lead generation form on a social platform, or contact us directly, we collect the details you submit. These typically include:
- your name;
- your email address;
- your telephone number, where you provide it;
- your company or organisation name, where you provide it;
- the service areas you are interested in, such as bank finance, project finance, government schemes, taxation or IPO advisory; and
- the contents of the message or enquiry you send us.
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address and a record of where the subscription originated.
Information collected automatically. When you submit a form on our website, our servers record your Internet Protocol (IP) address, your browser user agent string and the date and time of the submission. We use this limited technical information to prevent spam and automated abuse, and to protect the security and integrity of our systems.
We also collect aggregate, anonymised performance measurements about page loading speed. These measurements do not identify you and are not used to build a profile or to track you across other websites.
Information we do not seek. Please do not send us financial account credentials, passwords, one-time passwords, or sensitive personal documents through the website enquiry form. Where an engagement requires such information, we will tell you how to share it securely.
4. How we use your personal data
We use personal data for the following purposes:
- to respond to your enquiry and to tell you whether we can assist;
- to schedule and conduct consultations;
- to provide, administer and deliver our advisory services, and to prepare the documentation those services require;
- to communicate with you about an ongoing engagement;
- to send you our newsletter and practice updates, where you have asked to receive them;
- to maintain our internal records of enquiries and client relationships;
- to protect our website and systems against spam, fraud and misuse; and
- to comply with our legal, regulatory and professional obligations, including record-keeping requirements applicable to our practice.
We do not use your personal data to make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on you.
5. Consent and lawful use
We process your personal data on the basis of the consent you give when you submit your details to us, and for the legitimate uses permitted by the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, including where processing is necessary to provide a service you have requested or to comply with a legal obligation.
You may withdraw your consent at any time by writing to info@stalwartfin.com. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal, and we may continue to retain data where the law requires us to do so.
7. Where your data is stored
Our website and database are operated using cloud infrastructure providers. Enquiry and subscription records are stored on servers located in Singapore, and our hosting provider may process requests through data centres in other countries.
Where personal data is transferred outside India, we rely on providers that offer contractual and technical safeguards appropriate to the data concerned. If you would prefer that your information is not stored in this way, please contact us at info@stalwartfin.com before submitting it.
8. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records for as long as is necessary to respond to you and to maintain a record of our dealings, and for as long afterwards as our professional, tax and statutory record-keeping obligations require. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. When personal data is no longer required and no legal obligation to retain it applies, we delete it or render it anonymous.
9. Security
Traffic to and from this website is encrypted in transit using Transport Layer Security. Enquiry records are held in an access-controlled database, and the administrative interface used to view them is restricted to authorised personnel and protected by authentication.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. While we take reasonable and appropriate safeguards, we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a personal data breach occurs, we will notify affected individuals and the Data Protection Board of India as required by law.
10. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:
- obtain confirmation of whether we process your personal data, and access a summary of that data and the processing activities;
- have inaccurate or misleading personal data corrected, and incomplete data completed or updated;
- request erasure of personal data that is no longer required for the purpose it was collected, unless retention is required by law;
- withdraw the consent you have given, at any time;
- nominate another individual to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity; and
- raise a grievance with us about how we handle your personal data.
To exercise any of these rights, write to info@stalwartfin.com with enough detail for us to identify your record. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
12. Marketing communications
We send practice updates and newsletters only to people who have asked to receive them. You can opt out at any time by writing to info@stalwartfin.com, and we will remove you from the mailing list. We may still contact you about an active engagement or in response to an enquiry you have raised.
13. Third-party platforms and links
Where you submit your details through a lead generation form on a third-party platform such as LinkedIn, that platform collects and processes your data under its own privacy policy before passing the details to us. We encourage you to review the policy of any platform you use.
This website may link to external websites. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those websites.
14. Children
Our services are directed at businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal data of children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or in the law. The revised version will be published on this page with an updated revision date. Where the change is significant, we will take reasonable steps to notify you.
16. Contact and grievance redressal
For any question about this policy, or to exercise your rights or raise a grievance about how we handle personal data, please contact our Grievance Officer:
